Poppy Zones update – Effective April 7th
Updated this week

Why are the Poppy zones being updated? 🧐

After a detailed analysis, we’ve decided to adjust the boundaries of our service areas in both Antwerp and Brussels. By removing zones with low demand, we can improve car availability in the rest of the service areas, ensuring a better experience for the majority of our users.

What areas will no longer be part of the Poppy zone? 🗺️

Some zones in both Antwerp and Brussels with very low demand will be removed. In Antwerp, this also includes the closure of the Berendrecht and Zandvliet zones. You can view the specific areas being removed for both cities on our maps:

When will these changes take effect? 🗓️

The updated zones will be in place starting April 7th.

Why are these changes being made?

We want to ensure that our vehicles are readily available where they’re most needed. Removing underused zones allows us to focus our fleet in areas with higher demand, making it easier for you to find a vehicle when you need one.

How will this affect me?

If you regularly use Poppy in one of the affected zones, we understand that this may be inconvenient. However, we’re confident that this change will help improve overall service availability in the areas where most users need it.

What if I still need to get to or from the removed zones?

You are still allowed to drive to these zones and pause your trip there if necessary. We will continue to explore ways to expand our services in the future and better meet the needs of all users.

Thank you for your understanding! We appreciate your support and trust in Poppy as we work to provide better mobility solutions. Your loyalty means a lot to us, and we’re committed to continuously improving our service where it’s needed most. 🙏
