Why is my car not unlocking/driving?

Try following these steps if your car does not unlock after starting or continuing your trip:

  1. Restart your phone's connectivity options, like Bluetooth, mobile -and cellular data, to restore the connection.

  2. Ensure that your smartphone is close to the car when using the app to unlock it.

  3. Confirm that the Poppy app has the necessary permissions, such as location services, enabled on your device.

  4. Avoid parking the vehicle in a poor cell service area, this might affect the connection with the app.

Try following these troubleshooting steps if you cannot start driving your car:

  1. Ensure that the gear shift is properly set to 'Drive' mode for automatic transmissions.

  2. Check that the battery has sufficient charge or the fuel tank has enough gasoline.

  3. Inspect the dashboard for any warning lights that may indicate a problem.

  4. Double-check that the electronic parking brake has been disengaged before attempting to drive. (If the light above the P is illuminated in orange, then the brake is still engaged.)

🔑 In case you experience the error “Key not detected”, exit the vehicle, pause your in the app, and then resume your trip again.
