When you unlock a vehicle, a small fee is applied based on the type of vehicle.
✅ If you’ve purchased a pass, this fee is already included in the price.
🚗 Moving
You are charged for either the minutes or kilometers you drive.
⚠️ Extra charges may apply if you exceed the time or distance included in your pass.
✅ With a pass, some of these charges may appear as discounted or removed.
💡 Per-minute pricing is ideal for short trips, while per-kilometer pricing works better for longer distances.
⏸️ Stopping
Pausing your trip comes with a per-minute fee. This applies anytime your trip is paused but not ended.
📏 Kilometers
This shows how many kilometers you drove, and the cost if you’re on a kilometer-based rate.
🛡️ Insurance Plus / Premium
Indicates which insurance level you selected for your trip.
💸 Day fee
This fee limits how much you pay in a day, depending on your chosen rate:
Pay-per-minute (no pass): A cap is applied once your total reaches a set amount (varies by vehicle type). It replaces charges for driving and pausing.
Pay-per-kilometer (no pass): If your paused minutes exceed a set amount, a capped day fee replaces paused minute charges.

✅ All Day Fees include 100 km, and the rate depends on the vehicle tier.
🗓️ Booking
Covers the time you reserved the vehicle.
✅ If you go beyond your free reservation window, the extra charges will appear here (based on your loyalty tier).

📍 Drop-off fee (Antwerp Satellite Zone)
An extra charge applies when you end your trip in one of the Antwerp satellite zones.

🕒 Standstill
For pay-per-kilometer users: if your vehicle remains still for more than 10 minutes (without pausing), you’ll be charged 1 km for every 10 minutes of standstill.
💰 Credits
The amount of your invoice paid using available Poppy credits from your account. ✅ If your trip cost is fully covered by your Poppy credits, the invoice will show a value of 0 € with no additional payment required.
🚀 Overmileage
If you drive more than your pass includes (or more than 100 km under a Day Fee), you'll be charged per extra kilometer.

✈️ Airport tax
Trips starting or ending at our available Belgian airports include a pick-up or drop-off fee.

🧾 Processing Fee
This covers admin costs when handling fines, penalties, or other extra charges.
Towing Fees: If a Poppy vehicle is improperly parked and gets towed, the associated costs for the towing service are billed separately from any municipal parking fines already paid. The decision to tow is made by local authorities and reflects as a distinctive charge.
🚚 Delivery fee car
When you schedule a vehicle delivery to a specific location and time, this fee is added to your invoice.
🌍 Out of country fee
Driving into neighboring countries? This fee applies once per trip, regardless of how many borders you cross.
📈 Surge
If you select a vehicle in a high-demand zone, a surge fee may apply. This will be shown on your invoice.
💡 Dynamic pricing applies during high-demand periods or in popular zones, so plan your trip accordingly.
🔁 Recalculated trip
If you disputed a charge and we adjusted your invoice, you’ll see this term for the recalculated total.
