I received a towing invoice, what now?
Updated this week

Receiving an invoice for towing a vehicle is never a pleasant experience, but it's important to understand why this happens and how we handle it at Poppy.

Why did I receive an invoice for a towing service?

The towing of a Poppy vehicle is always done at the request of the police. These situations require quick action to ensure safety and proper vehicle management.

What happens after I receive an invoice for towing?

Rest assured, your convenience is our priority! We pay the towing invoice upfront for you. The amount will then be charged to your Poppy account and debited from your bank account after 7 days.

Why did I receive an email about the towed vehicle?

After receiving an invoice for towing, we send an informational email with details about the trip and the costs involved. This allows you to review the circumstances and understand where things may have gone wrong. 📩

What should I do if I want to dispute the towing invoice?

If you believe there has been a mistake, or if you want to dispute the invoice, you can contact us via the in-app live chat with all the necessary evidence or explanations. We will carefully review your case to ensure fairness and accuracy. 🔎

💡 Additional Information:

  • It's important to take a look at our parking policy as outlined in our FAQ articles. Knowing where you can and cannot park can help prevent future towing!

  • Please note that you remain responsible for the Poppy car for up to 48 hours after the end of your trip. So, if you park your Poppy in a location where a parking restriction starts within that period, you will be responsible for any fines or towing of the vehicle.
