Poppy users benefit from free access to several partner parking locations, including Interparking sites, P+Rs, and supermarket lots.
These parkings are clearly marked with a 'P' in the app and offer free entry using license plate recognition, no physical parking card or ticket required.
✅ How to use partner parkings
Arrival & entry:
Just drive up, the barrier will open automatically if you're in a Poppy car.
Free parking:
There are no charges when using partner parkings. However, Poppy does not reimburse tickets purchased accidentally.
Where to park:
Always choose the yellow 'car sharing' spaces. These are reserved for Poppy and other shared vehicles.
🛑 Important guidelines
No underground parking, unless it’s a partner location, underground garages often block connectivity, which can prevent trip ending or even immobilize the car.
Unauthorized parking may lead to vehicle relocation at your cost.
No connectivity? Avoid parking in zones with no signal. This can block the next user from accessing the vehicle, or you from continuing your trip.
Be considerate: this helps keep the service running smoothly for everyone.
⚠️ What if the barrier doesn’t open?
If the license plate recognition system fails, press the ‘call’ button at the gate and inform the parking staff you're using a Poppy vehicle. They’ll assist you and manually open the barrier.

Park as close as possible to the designated car-sharing area.
