Why did I receive a parking or traffic fine?
Parking or speeding fines are issued by law enforcement, parking waiters or roadside camera's if the vehicle is improperly parked, exceeds speed limits, or violates traffic regulations during your trip.
What should I do after receiving a fine?
Carefully review the details of the fine provided in the e-mail sent to you. This will include information about the violation, date, time, and trip. Pay the fine directly to the municipality before the deadline mentioned in the fine. The payment details can be found in the fine document. 📩
How will the fine be handled?
We will notify you about the fine through e-mail and request direct payment to the relevant authority. Additionally, an administrative fee will be charged to your Poppy account to cover the cost of managing the fine and communication with law enforcement.
In the event that the fine remains unpaid and we receive a reminder, Poppy will settle the fine on your behalf. However, you will be charged the full fine amount plus an additional administrative fee.
Can I contest the fine?
If you believe the fine was issued mistakenly or wish to dispute it, you have the right to do so. Please directly reach out to the authorities using the contact information provided on the fine, which you received by e-mail. If the details on the fine don’t match, please contact us via our in-app live chat.
