🚫 Parking ban rules:
Temporary signs (e.g. for roadworks, around schools or on market days):
If a ban starts within 48h after you parked and a fine is issued, you’re responsible.
Even after 48 hours, any fines (and towing fees) are your responsibility if the car hasn’t been moved.
Permanent parking bans (fixed signs):
These are always active. Even fines after 48h are your responsibility as long as the car stays parked there.
👉 Poppy isn’t liable for for moving wrongly parked vehicles. We also can’t guarantee another user will move the car within 48 hours.
Special parking considerations:
Zones requiring a blue parking card (only if you can provide one yourself).
No underground or private parkings (except designated partner parkings, visible in the app).
Parking Brussels: blue zones in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, from Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (a parking disc is required for everyone, including residents):
Place Schweitzer, including the public parking at the corner of Chaussée de Gand and Rue Openveld.
Avenue Josse Goffin, house numbers 1 to 9.
Public parking of the town hall, between Avenue du Roi Albert no. 33 and 47.
