💳 What are Poppy Credits?
Poppy Credits are a virtual currency on your Poppy account. You can earn them through certain actions or purchase them (if you have a Poppy Business account), and they can be used to pay for trips or services, depending on the type of credit.
🎁 How can I earn Poppy credits?
You can earn credits through several ways:
Refer a friend
Invite friends to join Poppy by going to your 'Profile' in the bottom right corner and selecting 'Invite a friend'. Once your friend takes their first trip, you both receive bonus credits.
Refuel or recharge a Poppy
Earn credits by refueling a Poppy vehicle at one of our partner service stations.
Complete Expert Tasks
Help relocate vehicles to hot zones or correct parking spots, fuel our vehicles or clean the interior and earn credits as a thank you.
🛒 Can I purchase Poppy credits?
Yes, if you have a Poppy Business account, you can purchase credit packs.
💡 How can I use my Poppy credits?
Credits given by Poppy
Usable for almost everything: trips, passes, subscriptions and insurance products.
⚠️ They cannot be used to pay for taxi rides.
Purchased credits (Business accounts or with a VAT number)
Usable only for pay-per-use trips (per minute/km) and purchasing insurance products.
⚠️ They cannot be used to pay for subscriptions or passes.
Credits are automatically applied to trips charged per minute or per kilometer when no pass is active. Newly added credits cannot be applied retroactively to an already issued invoice.
👥 Personal vs. Business credits
Credits are linked to either your personal or business account. 📌 They are not interchangeable and cannot be used simultaneously. 📌 If you have both personal and business profiles, ensure you are using the correct profile before starting a trip. Trips booked under the Business profile will deduct from your business credits.
🔄 Can I transfer credits to another account?
No. Poppy credits are non-transferable and can only be used within the account they were added to.Additionally, credits are non-refundable as cash, including goodwill credits, business credits, and general account credits.Refunds are typically issued back to the original payment method rather than as account credits. In certain cases, such as pricing adjustments or goodwill gestures, refunds may be issued as account credits instead.

If you have Poppy credits available, they will be automatically applied to your next trip invoice. No action needed from you!
📲 Where can I see my Poppy credits?
You can easily check your credits in the app:
Tap on ‘Profile’ in the bottom right corner of the app.
You'll see your credit balance displayed there.

The expiration date of each credit amount
This helps you keep track of how many credits you have, where they came from, and how long they’ll stay valid.
